On September 22 and 23, <abbr>LHRC<\/abbr>&#8212;part of the federal Title <abbr title=\"Roman numeral three\">III<\/abbr> Kekaulike Grant administered by <a href=\"http:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/nhss\/\">Native Hawaiian Student Services<\/a> at <abbr title=\"东精影业\">东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa and Hawaiian studies faculty at <a href=\"http:\/\/maui.hawaii.edu\/\"><abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Maui College<\/a>&#8212;hosted more than 40 Kanaka &#699;\u014ciwi undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and community presenters who shared the latest research on a broad variety of topics that ranged across more than a dozen disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>Sessions included: Huli ka Lima i Lalo Mai Uka i Kai: Reconnecting and Restoring &#699;Ike Through &#699;\u0100ina, Mana Wahine: Avenues for Empowerment, E <span aria-label=\"Hoi\">Ho&#699;i<\/span> i ka Piko: Healing Through Indigenous Knowledge, Nana i ke kumu: &#699;Ike <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> in libraries and archives and much more.
