When Agnes finds Tilly&#8217;s dungeons and dragons notebook, however, she stumbles into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was Tilly&#8217;s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.<\/p>\n<p>Leeward faculty member and award winning local director <strong>Betty Burdick<\/strong> will be directing the production.\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Logue<\/strong> of <a href=\"https:\/\/windward.hawaii.edu\/\">Windward Community College<\/a> will be choreographing the many fights.<\/p>\n<p>Burdick has directed past shows from the Leeward Theater such as <em>Alice in Wonderland<\/em>, <em>Twelfth Night<\/em>, <em>Titus Andronicus<\/em>, <em>Clockwork<\/em>, <em>A Dark and Stormy Knight<\/em>, <em>Tartuffe<\/em>, and most recently, <em>The Comedy of Errors<\/em>. Some of the students and alumni in the production have also starred in Burdick&#8217;s past shows or have taken theater classes with her.<\/p>\n<p><em>She Kills Monsters<\/em> is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.<\/p>\n<h2>Performance information<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Leeward Theatre Alternate Space at Leeward <abbr title=\"Community College\">CC<\/abbr> (room AM-101).
