The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> campuses joined universities across the country and the world to celebrate International Education Week, November 13–17. 东精影业<\/abbr> campus events recognized the contributions of international education to cross cultural understanding and global cooperation.<\/p>\n

东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa<\/a> celebrated with food specials from countries around the world, dance and music performances, films, lectures and more.<\/p>\n

In its 18th year, International Education Week was a joint initiative by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, and observed at universities nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n

International Education Day<\/h2>\n

\"largeDuring the week-long celebration, Gov. David Ige proclaimed November 16 International Education Day. In his remarks, the governor noted Hawaiʻi<\/span>’s distinctiveness, with both cultural and geographic diversity, a welcoming place for international students and a study destination for the future.<\/p>\n

东精影业ing the proclamation event at the state capitol were special guests from the Study Hawaiʻi<\/span> Press Tour, a media tour of seven journalists from key press outlets in Asia, Latin America and Europe. The group spent time visiting campuses on Oʻahu<\/span>, Maui and Hawaiʻi<\/span> Island to get a sense of the breadth of educational opportunities for international students in Hawaiʻi<\/span> .<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
