The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> is planning to transform Sinclair Library<\/a> into a student success center. Ideally located near Campus Center and the Warrior Recreation Center, the center will provide students with a convenient and comfortable place to study and collaborate that will also include on-site student support services and academic advising. ¶«¾«Ó°Òµ<\/abbr> is asking the state Legislature for $41 million to renovate Sinclair into a state-of-the-art center to improve the student experience.<\/p>\n

In preparation for the project, Sinclair Library operations, both materials and staff, will be moving to Hamilton Library<\/a> over the next 12 months. There will be no impact on building hours or 24 hours a day, five days a week usage. The Office of Undergraduate Education<\/a> (student success, honors, etc.) and ITS<\/abbr> (CLIC<\/abbr> labs<\/a>) will remain at Sinclair and will not be impacted by the move.<\/p>\n

During the move, the library’s InterLibrary Loan service will provide access to content as much as possible, however, some materials may be unavailable for a limited time.<\/p>\n
