Explore the fascinating secrets of the Earth, oceans, atmosphere and space at the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Mānoa School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology Open House Saturday, October 22, 2011. It’s free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

Featured will be interactive demonstrations, videos, laboratory tours, computer animation presentations and high-tech equipment displays. Come and learn about volcanoes, tsunami, planetary exploration, coral reefs, alternative energy and sailing canoes, among many other fascinating subjects.<\/p>\n

东精影业<\/abbr> Mānoa faculty, students and staff will share their knowledge and host entertaining and educational hands–on activities that are sure to be fun for the whole family.<\/p>\n

The open house is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 东精影业<\/abbr> Mānoa campus at the Pacific Ocean Science and Technology, Marine Science and Hawaiʻi<\/span> Institute of Geophysics Buildings. Parking is available in the lower campus parking structure and in the visitor parking lot behind Kennedy Theatre. Both are accessed from Dole Street.<\/p>\n
