Photo courtesy of <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Hilo.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Undergraduate students created abstracts, videos and infographics in collaboration with Blue Planet Foundation, a local nonprofit promoting renewable energy and sustainability in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>. Students are participating in Blue Planet\u2019s &ldquo;We Are 100&rdquo; campaign to gather 100 stories statewide to support <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>&#8216;s journey to clean energy.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Many of the student teams chose to highlight sustainability efforts by <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Hilo, including the solar panels on the Edwin H. Mookini Library, refill water stations, sustainability club and solar-powered charging stations,&rdquo; said <strong>Patsy Iwasaki<\/strong>, <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Hilo English instructor.<\/p>\n<p>Students\u2019 creations will be featured on Blue Planet Foundation\u2019s website and compiled into a published book as part of the organization\u2019s &ldquo;We Are 100&rdquo; campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Iwasaki has received positive feedback from Blue Planet Foundation and <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Energy, a customer-funded conservation and efficiency program administered by Leidos Engineering <abbr title=\"limited liability company\">LLC<\/abbr>.
