EM evaluations are conducted annually to provide feedback on the achievement of goals, expectations, accomplishments, and overall performance.


Per President Wendy Hensel’s April 21, 2026 memo, the following evaluation process applies to the EM Performance Evaluation period of April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026. For this evaluation cycle, supervisors may complete evaluations for their subordinate EM employees using one of two approaches

  • Option 1: Use Existing Performance Criteria
  • Option 2: Use Alternative Performance Criteria

Regardless of the option selected, all EM employees must receive a final rating and be entered into Trakstar (PerformTrak) by July 31, 2026.


Option 1: Use Existing Performance Criteria in Trakstar (PerformTrak)

  1. May 16, 2026June 12, 2026 – EM employees may enter their self-evaluation into . Instructions.
  2. June 12, 2026 – Deadline to complete self-evaluation in Trakstar.  
  3. June 13, 2026 – EM supervisors may enter their employee evaluations in Trakstar.

  4. By July 31, 2026, assign a final rating and enter into Trakstar.

Option 2: Use Alternative Performance Criteria in Trakstar

  1. Contact the 东精影业 Office of Human Resources (jefferyl@hawaii.edu) no later than May 15, 2026 to ensure Trakstar is appropriately set up to support your evaluation process.
  2. A final performance rating will be entered into Trakstar by July 31, 2026
    • Meets
    • Exceeds
    • Exceptional
    • Does Not Meet

Eligibility for Evaluation 

E/M employees hired on or before October 1 of the evaluation year must participate in the evaluation process if they have been in their position for at least six months by the end of the evaluation period. Employees hired after October 1 are not required to participate.
