Addressing your students’ needs is critical to ensuring a successful higher education experience. That’s why the University of Hawai’i partnered with findhelp to launch the 东精影业 Student Basic Needs website: a database of over 2000 resources to address student’s needs. In addition, the university established an infrastructure to address student needs at the campus level, harnessing survey and search data to strategically develop interventions in response to students鈥 unique needs. At this webinar on June 10th 2022, University of Hawai’i and findhelp will share methods for identifying the basic needs of students, understanding the resources available to meet their needs, and developing infrastructure to address basic needs inhibiting student success.

To help the UH community better understand basic needs insecurity in the student population, UHBNC has invited聽聽to present data from the聽, the nation鈥檚 largest, most well-established assessment of students鈥 basic needs insecurity. Goldrick-Rab is a professor of sociology and medicine at Temple University, the president and founder of the聽聽and is a leading expert on student basic needs insecurity in higher education. The webinar will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 10:30鈥11:30 a.m., and address聽key findings from the UH System.聽Registration聽is required.
