That’s why the University of Hawai’i partnered with findhelp to launch the ¶«¾«Ó°Òµ Student Basic Needs website<\/a>: a database of over 2000 resources to address student’s needs. In addition, the university established an infrastructure to address student needs at the campus level, harnessing survey and search data to strategically develop interventions in response to students\u2019 unique needs.<\/strong> At this webinar on June 10th 2022, University of Hawai’i and findhelp will share methods for identifying the basic needs of students, understanding the resources available to meet their needs, and developing infrastructure to address basic needs inhibiting student success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n A recording of this webinar can be viewed here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n To help the UH community better understand basic needs insecurity in the student population, UHBNC has invited\u00a0Sara Goldrick-Rab<\/a>\u00a0to present data from the\u00a0#RealCollege Survey<\/a>, the nation\u2019s largest, most well-established assessment of students\u2019 basic needs insecurity. Goldrick-Rab is a professor of sociology and medicine at Temple University, the president and founder of the\u00a0Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice<\/a>\u00a0and is a leading expert on student basic needs insecurity in higher education.
