RESOLUTION SUPPORTING STUDENT CONSULTATION DURING REORGANIZATION
WHEREAS, 东精影业 Administrative Procedures A3.101 provides for appropriate consultation and information dissemination on reorganization; and
WHEREAS, A3.101 requires that the proposed reorganization be 鈥渄isseminated and discussed within the affected units and with affected personnel;鈥� and
WHEREAS, A3.101 specifically calls for consultation only with 鈥渉uman resources and budget offices鈥� and 鈥渃ollective bargaining representatives鈥� omitting students; and
WHEREAS, the M膩noa Faculty Senate reviews any proposed reorganization as a representative of affected stakeholders and personnel among faculty on the M膩noa campus; and
WHEREAS, A3.101 requires a reorganization proposal to discuss 鈥渋mpact on services to students;鈥� and
WHEREAS, students at the 东精影业 at M膩noa, both undergraduate and graduate, represent important stakeholders and affected personnel in a reorganization; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the M膩noa Faculty Senate supports the inclusion of students in the consultative process of proposed reorganizations.
