Aloha, The East-West Centerās student-led International Graduate Student Conference (IGSC) is excited to announceĀ that we will host aĀ Closing Panel: "Different Paths, Similar Trajectories: Grounding Language Revitalization in Community."Ā This panel will bring together perspectives of young scholars and valued community members, embarking onĀ revitalizing their indigenous languages through various methodsĀ according to their community needs. Please join us onĀ February 13th (Saturday) at 3:30 PM - 5:00 PMĀ Hawaiāi Standard Time via Zoom. Panel Title: "Different Paths, Similar Trajectories: Grounding Language Revitalization in Community" Purpose of the Panel:Ā This panel will bring together perspectives of young scholars and valued community members from four different island communities, Hawaii, Taiwan, Jeju Island, and GuĆ„han, embarking on revitalizing their indigenous languages through various methods according to their community needs.
