Lawe i ka Ma驶alea a K奴驶ono驶ono: Panela Hana Lei

May 1, 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Mānoa Campus, QLCSS113

These panelists will share their connection to lei-making practices, using l膩驶au (plants), p奴p奴 (shells), and hulu (feathers). Lei to these panelists is more than an aesthetic and a non-Hawaiian holiday; it's a way to connect to 驶膩ina (land), 驶艒lelo (language), and mo驶omeheu (culture). Join NHSS as we listen and learn about these different perspectives of what lei means in our time.
