Cancer patients/survivors/thrivers, caregivers, family members, healthcare providers and supporters and invited for our next Susan C. Hirano Cancer CARE Community event: 鈥淗ealing Through Art鈥 Saturday, July 18 | 9-11 a.m. Sullivan Conference Center, UH Cancer Center Public welcome; free admission Explore a variety of therapeutic methods, such as visual art, music, and haiku reflection/meditation. Such creative modalities can significantly improve the quality of life for cancer survivors by reducing anxiety, depression and stress, while strengthening self expression, and the processing of complex emotions surrounding cancer diagnosis and treatment.
