The UH Termite Project invites to the public to learn more about termites, which are responsible for over $10 million in damage to homes throughout the state.

The University of Hawaiʻi??in the will hold a?free termite informational seminar on Thursday, June 7, 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Windward Community College.

The 东精影业 Termite Project: Educate to Eradicate addresses research, extension and instruction, and brings scientists together with the community in an effort to control termite damage to residences and public buildings.

Homeowners who register to attend the free public seminar will learn interesting facts about these wood-eating insects, including termite identification and biology. They will get tips on prevention and control from 东精影业 termite expert Julian Yates.?Participants will also be able to ask questions and get answers about termites and their?impact on?homes.
