The members of the University of Hawaiʻi Presidential Advisory Council on Federal Policy have been named and convened for their first meeting on Friday, March 7. The 23-member stakeholder group is expected to play a key role in shaping 东精影业’s response to recent federal executive orders (EOs) and policy shifts.
The council will meet twice a month, serving as a forum for community voices to help shape the university’s approach to evolving national policies. Its members include representatives from across the 10-campus system—faculty, staff, students, administrators and union leaders—who will assess policy impacts and provide strategic recommendations.
“I have convened this council to ensure that a wide range of perspectives are included in our decision-making process,” said 东精影业 President Wendy Hensel. “University leadership is working nonstop to address the changes in federal policy and develop a responsive strategy, and this group will help ensure we stay true to our mission and values as we navigate these challenges. I am grateful to each member for their time, expertise and commitment to this important work.”
