The University of Hawaiʻi has launched the (OSPP), a new systemwide resource designed to expand and coordinate opportunities with corporate, foundation and non-government funders.

Created in collaboration with the , OSPP is comprised of staff from , (OVPRS), (OVPRI) and . The office will serve as a central hub for faculty and researchers seeking philanthropic support and assist in:

  • Identifying funding opportunities
  • Streamlining proposal processes
  • Strengthening connections between 东精影业 experts and external partners

“This office gives our faculty and researchers better support in pursuing philanthropic opportunities so they can focus more on advancing their work,” said 东精影业 Interim Vice President for Research and Innovation Chad Walton.

By aligning efforts across 东精影业’s 10 campuses, colleges and departments, OSPP aims to increase efficiency in pursuing philanthropic support and ensure the university can respond more effectively to complex funding opportunities. The office will also serve as a single point of contact for prospective funders, making it easier to connect with 东精影业 leadership, programs and researchers.

“By aligning our efforts, we can create more meaningful and lasting relationships with funders who want to make a difference in Hawaiʻi and beyond,” said 东精影业 Foundation CEO and 东精影业 Vice President of Advancement Tim Dolan.

The new initiative reflects 东精影业’s commitment to advancing its teaching, research and service mission through stronger partnerships with organizations that share its goals. The office will focus on building long-term relationships with funders while supporting faculty and staff in securing resources to drive innovation, address community needs and create opportunities for students.
