Dr. Sarah Grekin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She completed residency training in dermatology at the University of Michigan and a fellowship in dermatopathology at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Grekin is Board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology and holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Dr. Gavin Hayashi is the 2025-26 UH M膩noa-John A. Burns School of Medicine Sports Medicine Fellow. He received聽his undergraduate and medical degrees from Creighton University. Dr. Hayashi completed family medicine residency training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita Wesley. He is Board-certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Sharon Hiu received her undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University and medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona. She completed residency training in family medicine at the DCH Foundation Hospitals in Downey. She is Board-certified in Family Medicine and holds an academic appointment as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Nancy Luong Kendall received her undergraduate degree from the University of Hawai鈥榠 at M膩noa and Master of Science in Nursing at the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, Tennessee. She specializes in reproductive health and primary care medicine.
ANDREW W. NICHOLS, M.D.

Dr. Andrew Nichols received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and medical degree from Wake Forest University. He completed residency training in family medicine and fellowship training in sports medicine at UCLA. He is Board-certified in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine and holds academic appointments as Clinical Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health and Sports Medicine Fellowship Program Director at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. Dr. Nichols served as head team physician for the 东精影业 at Mānoa Athletics Department from 1994-2011, and is now a volunteer team physician. Dr. Nichols is the Director of University Health Services Mānoa.

Burns School of Medicine and completed residency training in family medicine at Adventist Health Glendale in California. Dr. Shimotsu is Board-certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Jonathan Sladky聽received his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and medical聽degree from Ohio State University. He completed residency training in pediatrics at Emory University and聽fellowship training in sports medicine at the UH M膩noa-John A. Burns School of Medicine. He is Board-certified in聽both Pediatrics and Sports Medicine and holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Family聽Medicine and Community Health and Associate Program Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship at the John A.聽Burns School of Medicine. Dr. Sladky has served as head team physician for the University of Hawai‘i at M膩noa聽Athletics Department since 2019.
COURTNEY TAUM, M.D.

Dr. Courtney Taum received her undergraduate degree at the University of Hawai‘i at聽M膩noa, where she was a聽member and team captain of the UH M膩noa Wahine Basketball Team. Dr.聽Taum earned her M.D. degree and聽completed pediatrics residency and sports medicine fellowship training at the UH M膩noa-John A.聽Burns School of聽Medicine. She is Board-certified in Pediatrics and Board-eligible in Sports Medicine.
